Bente van den Beuken is an attorney at law at De Vos & Partners Advocaten in Amsterdam. She graduated cum laude from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where she completed the Master’s programme in Internet, ICT and Intellectual Property Law.
Bente advises national and international clients on privacy, data protection, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, and digital regulation. She combines her legal practice with acting as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for various organizations, supporting them in navigating complex compliance and governance challenges under the GDPR and AI regulations.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Bente gained valuable experience in the LegalTech sector, which gave her strong interest in the intersection of technology and innovation. Her work focuses not only on legal compliance, but also on helping organizations innovate safely in a fast-changing digital world.
Bente is a member of the Dutch Association of AI Lawyers (VAIA), Young Privacy Lawyers Netherlands (JPAN), the Female Intellectual Property Experts (FIPE) network, and the Amsterdam Young Bar Association.
