Stijn Haanschoten, LL.M., Ph.D. is an experienced Dutch lawyer specializing in complex corporate and commercial disputes. He advises and represents clients in shareholder disputes, inquiry proceedings, buy-out and withdrawal matters, commercial disputes and arbitrations, including cases with an international dimension. He is also qualified to litigate before the Dutch Supreme Court.
Stijn obtained his Ph.D. from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2025, with research focused on the protection of minority shareholders, reasonableness and fairness, and shareholder exit rights. He is also a Visiting Lecturer at Erasmus School of Law, teaching in the areas of company law and financial law.
He regularly contributes to legal education and professional discussions through publications, lectures and in-house courses on corporate law and litigation.
