Onur Karakus is a Cyber Security Expert at KPMG Netherlands with more than 15 years of hands-on experience across technology, cybersecurity, digital risk and transformation. He holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering, a master’s degree in Informatics and an MBA, combining a strong technical foundation with business and strategic expertise.
At KPMG, he advises organisations on cybersecurity risk & strategy, compliance, operational resilience and AI-enabled security. His work increasingly focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and organisational accountability, including the opportunities AI creates for security operations and professional services, as well as emerging risks related to AI security, governance and trust in digital technologies.
