Posner Wage Theft Claims Should Be Revived, 7th Circ. Told
Former Staffer Seeks Review of Federal Court Rulings
A former staffer for retired U.S. Circuit Judge Richard Posner has requested the Seventh Circuit to reconsider federal court decisions regarding his wage theft claims against the ex-judge. The former staffer argues that an Indiana federal judge allowed a flawed discovery process and prematurely dismissed the claims despite unresolved factual issues.
The appeal was made by the former staffer’s legal representation, including law firms Eichhorn & Eichhorn and MoloLamken, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
The case involves allegations of wage theft by the ex-judge, Richard Posner, and the legal battle has now escalated to the appellate level.
