Massimo Pignatiello is the Managing Partner of Donatiello & Pignatiello International Law Firm, a boutique international practice operating across Rome, Geneva, Stuttgart, Hamburg, London and Istanbul. His practice centres on international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution, with particular focus on the enforcement and recovery side of complex commercial disputes, including matters touching trade, commodities, and multi-jurisdictional commission and investment claims.
Working across Italian, German, Swiss, Turkish and English-law environments, and advising in five languages, he takes a direct, strategy-led approach to disputes that span several jurisdictions at once. He is admitted to the Italian Bar (Avellino) and a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
At WLF Europe 2026 he joins Panel 2, International Arbitration & Dispute Resolution, to examine how arbitral strategy translates into real-world recovery across borders, and how counsel can turn favourable rulings into actual enforcement.
