Canadian Company Permanently Blocked From Using ‘Deep Cleansing Oil’ Brand

By Editorial Team

A Pennsylvania federal judge has issued a permanent injunction against a Canadian skincare company, prohibiting it from infringing on a competitor’s trademark for the brand name “Deep Cleansing Oil.” The decision came after the Canadian company failed to respond to the case brought against it.

The case, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, involved allegations of trademark infringement by the Canadian skincare company. The court ruled in favor of the plaintiff, represented by the law firm Eckert Seamans, and granted a permanent injunction to prevent the Canadian company from using the “Deep Cleansing Oil” brand name.

The judge presiding over the case, Jennifer P. Wilson, issued the injunction after considering the evidence presented and finding in favor of the plaintiff. The decision serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting intellectual property rights and respecting trademarks in the skincare industry.
