Cathryn leads Howden Asia’s contingent and litigation risk insurance (CLRI) practice. A pioneer of CLRI in Asia, she has extensive experience developing pragmatic insurance solutions tackling known risks within M&A, restructuring & insolvency, and litigation. She concurrently oversees regional claims relating to M&A and tax insurance. A former disputes partner, she is well placed to help clients navigate complex post-M&A claims to help them achieve their claims objective. A thought leader in this area, she regularly speaks at conferences and was previously shortlisted as a finalist in Euromoney’s APAC Women in Business Law awards as a Rising Star (Arbitration). Cathryn is qualified in Singapore, England & Wales and Australia. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
