I have been a Product Counsel for the last 7 years, dealing with regulatory, commercial, privacy and employment issues at Uber.
I help legal advice to be delivered in a no-nonsense, practical way to business stakeholders. Conversely, I translate business initiatives to legal experts and navigate both environments to find compliant solutions to innovative endeavors.
Prior to that, I:
- Led the litigation team (10+ lawyers) of a Law Practice, focusing mostly on public bidding and anticorruption law in the transportation and health industries;
- Served as a clerk for Dr. José Manoel de Arruda Alvim, renowned legal scholar, as a researcher for legal opinions and litigation strategy-designing.
I have pursued an academic career, mostly in Philosophy of decision-making and in civil procedure, having published two books and several articles in legal journals.
