Swati Sumbly is a legal professional with over 15 years of in‑house and law firm
experience spanning data privacy, regulatory compliance, healthcare law,
litigation management, and commercial contracting. She currently serves as
Legal Consultant to US based Kare Partners Group, supporting its legal
operations. Her work in privacy compliance has involved organisations in
healthcare, aviation, technology and the non‑profit sector. She has worked on
matters involving HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Singapore PDPA and India’s DPDP
Act.
Swati holds IAPP certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM) as well as
DCPP from the Data Security Council of India. She is admitted as an advocate
with the Bar Council of Delhi and has held legal roles at IndiGo Airlines, PETA
and Khaitan & Partners, a New Delhi based law firm.
