Mouhamed KEBE is the Managing Partner of GENI & KEBE, a full-service law firm member of DLA Piper Africa, based in Senegal, and Ivory Coast, with affiliate offices across several jurisdictions mainly in the OHADA region.
He has over 30 years of experience in the field of commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, and domestic litigation in Africa.
He acts for states and their entities, as well as for corporate clients in all types of disputes, focusing on energy and natural resources, infrastructure, telecommunications, projects and finance.
He sits also as arbitrator serving as tribunal chair, sole arbitrator, and co-arbitrator with arbitrator appointments under the rules of ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, CCJA…

He is a former member of the Court of Arbitration of the ICC, a member of the ICC Institute of World Business Law, a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration of OHADA, and a member of the panel of arbitrators of the China 2

International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), and a member of the panel of arbitrators of the ICSID.
He holds a LLM in Business law from the University of Dakar Cheikh Anta Diop, Senegal, a LLM in International law from the University of Essex, United Kingdom, a Certificate in International Arbitration from the University of London, and a certificate in Investment Arbitration from the Georgetown University, US
He is admitted to practice in Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal and is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales (International Division)
He oversees commercial, and investment arbitration, as Counsel, or arbitrator.

He has lectured and published extensively on questions dealing with investment treaties, including a recent book on ‘’The African Continental Free Trade Area and the Future of Investor-State Dispute Settlement in Africa’’, Intersentia, 2023
