Joeri joined Deminor in September 2009 and has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s litigation funding practice. He focuses on large-scale opt-in collective actions on behalf of investors and victims of competition law violations. He also has extensive expertise in opt-out damages claims under the Dutch Act on the Resolution of Mass Damages in Collective Action (“WAMCA”). Joeri has been deeply involved in several high-profile settlements, including Imtech, Fortis/Ageas, Steinhoff and OW Bunker. He also leads Deminor’s substantial filing initiative in the Madoff Victim Fund and is engaged in a number of ongoing cross-border cases, such as Danske Bank, the Trucks Cartel litigation and the Royal Dutch Philips case.
