Alona has 16+ years of international experience, serving as a trusted lawyer to Fortune 500 companies across multiple sectors, including Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, Renewables, Manufacturing, Healthcare, etc. She is currently the Head of Legal for Global Maritime, supporting the entire offshore project lifecycle, covering 22 countries. Previously, she worked at McDermott’s International and Johnson Controls, both internationally recognizable organizations.

Overall, she has negotiated contracts valued above USD 5 billion annually. Alona’s area of expertise includes commercial, construction, real estate, employment, corporate, arbitration, dispute resolution, and litigation. Her area of practice covers EMEA, UK, APAC, Canada, and the U.S. regions (168 countries).

She was recently shortlisted by the Oil & Gas Middle East Awards as Executive of the Year and Energy Woman of the Year. In addition to her Master’s Degree in Law, she recently earned professional certificates in Contract Law from Harvard University and Successful Negotiation from the University of Michigan.

She serves as a mentor in London and Dubai through leading mentorship programs. She also coaches and mentors other women in the Middle East who aspire to become lawyers, continue their education, or grow their careers. She often speaks at industry conferences and events, and recently authored an article for InHouse Middle East in The Legal Industry magazine.
