region. El-Masry is an experienced privacy and information security professional; AI Governance thought
leader, and public speaker. El-Masry is a PECB-certified trainer with demonstrated knowledge and
experience in public policy and designing and implementing privacy and data protection compliance
programs according to Egyptian PDPL, KSA PDPL, UAE PDPL, and EU GDPR. In addition, Osama has
actively participated in the public consultation of the Personal Data Protection Laws and Regulations in
both Egypt and KSA and has received Certificates of Appreciation from the World Bank Group for his
contribution to the Digital Business Indicators & World Development Report 2021 and from Faculty of
Law, British University in Egypt for his contribution in Egyptian PDPL Critical Review.
