Cavan Fabris is a Partner and Head of the Tier 2 Legal 500 ranked international Data & Cyber team at RPC in London, with over 25 years’ experience at the intersection of law, technology, and international regulation. He has advised innovative startups through to FTSE 100 multinationals on complex issues in data privacy, cyber incident response, AI, telecoms and global compliance. Prior roles include senior legal positions at Deloitte Legal, EY Law in-house counsel at Apple, as well as diplomatic service with the U.S. State Department. He is the former Trusted AI lead at EY and helps organisations navigate the myriad of relevant legal frameworks that challenge AI implementation. Cavan brings a practical, business-aligned perspective to emerging tech law challenges that face General Counsels, Heads of Legal, boards, CISOs, CIOs and Chief Privacy Officers. He holds a Masters in Law from the University of Bristol, a Juris Doctor from Penn State Dickinson School of Law, a Bachelors degree from American University in Washington DC and attended the Cybersecurity Leadership programme (Abu Dhabi) at Duke University.
