Asiyat is a senior corporate and M&A counsel with over 20 years of experience in complex cross-border transactions, capital markets, and regulatory matters. A summa cum laude graduate of Moscow State University Law Faculty, she is fluent in English, Russian, native Kabardian and Italian.
Her career includes substantial international firm experience at international law firms (Dechert LLP and Chadbourne & Parke), where she advised on securities, finance, and major natural resource transactions. Since 2014, she has led M&A projects under both Russian and English law, coordinating due diligence teams and drafting core transactional documentation while maintaining liaison with Russian regulators.
With sector expertise in energy, telecommunications, finance, IT, logistics, and sports/e-sports, she has practical experience structuring multi-jurisdictional transactions across BVI, Cyprus, UK, Switzerland, Panama and many other regions.
Internationally engaged, Asiyat presented at Arabia Expo-2019, resulting in six MENA companies establishing Russian joint ventures with her support. She advises the Russian Chamber of Commerce on foreign business queries and currently counsels high-net-worth entrepreneurs from MENA region on Russian legal matters.
