Balall Maqbool is an English qualified lawyer and certified Money Laundering Report Officer (MLRO) with 14 years’ experience in the knowledge team at DLA Piper Middle East. Based in Bahrain, Balall provides guidance to the global KM and IT team to develop, manage, and maintain DLA Piper’s KM platforms, as well as supporting our fee earners with client-related queries. Educated with a Law Degree from the University of South Wales, Balall has developed and specialized in areas of law including Corporate, Employment, and Intellectual Property and is well-rounded with the technical know-how to deliver the firms’ strategy to DLA’s partners, fee earners in groups, countries and sectors. Balall also has over 5 years’ experience teaching some courses in various universities across the GCC as part of the firm’s pro-bono program.
