Philly-Area Nightclub Sued For Using Models’ Photos

A group of professional models has filed a lawsuit against a suburban Philadelphia nightclub, alleging that images of the models were misappropriated and inserted into the venue’s promotional materials without their permission.
The lawsuit, filed on Friday, has named the nightclub as the defendant. The models claim that their photos were used without authorization, leading to a violation of their rights.
The legal action has been initiated by the models’ legal representatives from Casas Law Firm and Sacchetta & Baldino. The case has been brought before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Among the companies listed in the lawsuit are Nike Inc., Reebok International Ltd., Saks Fifth Avenue LLC, Seattle Seahawks, The Neiman Marcus Group LLC, Ultimate Fighting Championship Ltd., and Victoria’s Secret & Co.
The lawsuit highlights the importance of obtaining proper consent and authorization before using individuals’ images for commercial purposes. The case is expected to shed light on the legal implications of misappropriating models’ photos without permission.
