Notre Dame LL.M. Graduates Making Impact in International Legal Placements

Recent graduates of the LL.M. Program in International Human Rights Law at the University of Notre Dame Law School have secured prestigious legal placements worldwide, showcasing the global impact of a Notre Dame legal education.
Notable Placements:
1. Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations in New York
Rim Joukhadar from Lebanon will serve as a legal fellow, attending UN meetings, drafting reports, and contributing to policy discussions.
2. UN Women at the United Nations in New York
Salina Kafle from Nepal will work in the Peace, Security, and Resilience section, focusing on conflict prevention and resolution, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding.
3. Inter-American Court of Human Rights in Costa Rica
Maria Paula Roncancio from Colombia will work as a judicial clerk, providing legal analyses of cases and drafting decisions on human rights violations.
4. Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations Office in Geneva
Anaëlle Trébulle-Famy from France will assist in preparing, attending, and debriefing UN conferences, contributing to the Holy See’s positions on key issues.
5. Notre Dame Law School Global Human Rights Clinic
Six graduates, including Gvantsa Dolbaia, Mbonisi Malinga Ndhlovu, Chidera Onah, and Victoria Mendoza Ruiz, are summer fellows at the clinic, engaging in legal research, writing, and drafting on international human rights cases.
The Global Human Rights Clinic led by Professor Diane Desierto provides students with real-world experience in human rights advocacy and legal reform.
