Denver Mayor’s Office Dismisses New Airport Lawsuit as “Baseless”

By Editorial Team

The Denver Mayor’s office has responded to a new lawsuit filed against the city regarding the construction of a new airport terminal by calling the claims “baseless” and “horses***”. The lawsuit, filed by a group of local residents, alleges that the city violated zoning laws and failed to conduct proper environmental assessments before beginning construction on the new terminal.

In a statement released earlier today, a spokesperson for the Mayor’s office stated, “This lawsuit is nothing more than a desperate attempt to delay much-needed infrastructure improvements in our city. The claims made in the lawsuit are completely without merit and we are confident that the court will see through this baseless attempt to halt progress.”

The lawsuit, filed in Denver District Court, seeks to halt construction on the new airport terminal until the city conducts a full environmental impact assessment and complies with all relevant zoning laws. The plaintiffs argue that the construction poses a threat to the environment and the surrounding community.

The Mayor’s office has vowed to vigorously defend against the lawsuit and continue with the construction of the new airport terminal. The spokesperson added, “We remain committed to ensuring that this project is completed on time and on budget, and we will not let frivolous lawsuits stand in the way of progress.”

The lawsuit is set to be heard in court next month, where both sides will have the opportunity to present their arguments before a judge. The outcome of the case could have significant implications for the future of the new airport terminal project in Denver.
